Dunlop Herco HE113 Thumbpick (Heavy) (3-Pack)

Dunlop Herco HE113 Thumbpick Heavy (3-Pack) – Powerful Strumming with a Secure Grip

The Dunlop Herco HE113 Thumbpick Heavy (3-Pack) was designed for guitarists who rely on firm resistance and maximum tone when playing. This hybrid pick combines the shape of a traditional flat pick with the functionality of a thumbpick loop—ideal for players who want to actively use their thumb while fingerpicking or hybrid picking.

The Heavy version offers a particularly firm strike and is excellent for producing clear, assertive tones on acoustic, resonator, or electric guitars. The pick comes in a convenient 3-pack—perfect for the stage, studio, or rehearsal room.

Dunlop Herco – Quality in Every Playing Style

As part of the Dunlop family, Herco stands for high-quality guitar accessories with practical benefits. The HE113 thumb pick continues this tradition: It’s a tool for creative musicians who need control and versatility when playing with their thumb—whether for classic country fingerpicking, blues, or slide playing.

The sturdy celluloid material not only ensures durability but also delivers a full, powerful sound. The well-thought-out shape allows for a secure yet comfortable fit—even during extended playing sessions.

Technical Specifications of the HE113 Thumbpick

Crafted from high-quality celluloid and available in various colors, the HE113 impresses with its robust construction and comfortable feel. The Heavy gauge of the pick is particularly well-suited for powerful strumming and precise thumb picking—ideal for musicians who want to combine power and expression.

The thumb loop holds the pick securely in place without constricting the thumb. This combination allows for a natural playing posture and offers great freedom when switching quickly between flatpicking and fingerstyle.

Versatile for use on stage, in the studio, and in lessons

The HE113 is particularly well-suited for experienced musicians looking for a sturdy, durable pick that won’t give way even with intensive use. In genres such as bluegrass, rockabilly, jazz, or country, this thumbpick delivers precise strikes and clear tonal contours. It complements any in-ear or acoustic setup perfectly, providing a reliable playing foundation with plenty of expressiveness.

With the 3-pack, you’ll be perfectly equipped—whether as spares in your guitar case or as a set for everyday use. The different colors also help you quickly distinguish between the picks or assign them to specific instruments.

Bottom line: control, tone, and comfort all in one

The Dunlop Herco HE113 Thumbpick Heavy (3-Pack) is the ideal choice for guitarists who want to play powerfully, with control, and flexibly using their thumb. The combination of a traditional pick shape and a secure strap opens up new possibilities—both sonically and technically.

Whether as your main pick or as an addition to your setup: This thumbpick offers an excellent blend of ergonomics, tonal response, and stability—a must-have for anyone who values precise control and professional-grade accessories.
