The Ortega R20GSNWN 4/4 classical guitar, including a gig bag, is handcrafted in Spain. Spain is considered the home of the classical guitar and boasts a long tradition of crafting high-quality instruments. This expertise is reflected in the sound quality and craftsmanship of this guitar.

Technical Details – High-Quality Tonewoods and Ergonomic Design

The centerpiece of the Ortega R20GSNWN 4/4 concert guitar, including gig bag, is its solid cedar top. This tonewood is particularly prized in classical guitar making because it delivers a quick response and a warm, full sound. Cedar truly reveals its characteristic richness of tone, particularly in classical music and fingerstyle playing.

The back and sides are made of walnut, a tonewood known for its balanced tonal characteristics and elegant appearance. Walnut provides clear mids, defined bass, and pleasant highs, creating a harmonious tonal balance.

The African mahogany neck ensures stability and a comfortable playing feel. The neck on this model is intentionally designed to be narrower. With a nut width of 48 mm, the Ortega R20GSNWN 4/4 classical guitar (includes gig bag) offers exceptionally comfortable playability. This design is ideal for guitarists with smaller hands or for players switching from an acoustic-style guitar to a concert guitar.

The rosewood fingerboard provides a comfortable feel and supports precise tone articulation. With a total of 19 frets, the guitar offers a versatile musical range—from classical compositions to modern guitar arrangements.

With a scale length of 650 mm, the guitar meets the classic standard dimensions of a concert guitar. This scale length ensures balanced string tension and a familiar playing feel.

The high-quality chrome tuners in an elegant lyre design with white tuning pegs allow for precise tuning and ensure stable pitch. At the same time, they enhance the instrument’s classic appearance.

The Ortega R20GSNWN 4/4 concert guitar comes factory-equipped with a gig bag and Knobloch EDQ 34.0 MED/HIGH Tension strings.

The maple binding adds elegant visual accents along the body while also protecting the guitar’s edges. Combined with the natural high-gloss finish, this creates a particularly premium and stylish look.

The package also includes a high-quality Pro Gig Bag. This allows you to transport the guitar safely and reliably protect it from external influences—ideal for lessons, rehearsals, or performances.
